A night of varied-genre electronic music, ranging from techno, trance, hard-groove, industrial techno to acid. The night incorporated the talent of local DJs and filmmakers with art visuals accompanying the music all night long. Brutal Collective aims to combine the Scottish contemporary art scene with the Scottish underground electronic music scene and this time we featured some incredible videographers.
Brunswick Cellars on Sauchiehall street was the perfect location for this ethereal night as we were able to display the work of our contemporary filmmakers on their various screens, surrounding every room and corner of this underground space.
With themes of liminal space, uncanny objects mixed with vibrant colours and abstracted image, our filmmakers transported the space to create a bizarre and fascinating dancefloor.
